Haldanes’ Lawyers Recognised for Community Service
Haldanes’ Partners Felix Ng and Nathan Wong, together with Senior Associate Xenia Lo and Associate Joanne Lam were recently presented with Certificates of Appreciation by the Law Society of Hong Kong in recognition of their ongoing contribution to community service.
All of them have been actively involved in reaching out to the community with talks, pro bono work and helping to show case the Law Society’s outreach efforts. Nathan also serves as a member in the Standing Committee on External Affairs of the Law Society, with extensive participation in free legal consultation and pro bono legal service projects.
Most recently Felix and Joanne from our award-winning criminal defence team, spoke at “Abide by the Law Legal Forum Series 2024: Project GATES”.
Jointly organised by the Law Society, the Hong Kong Police Force Kwai Tsing District, the Police Psychological Services Unit and the Hong Kong Federation of Youth Groups, the event aimed to educate young people on the devastating effects of drug use and to help them better understand the legal consequences.
Haldanes has long had a tradition of working alongside the community in which we live and work.
The efforts of Felix, Nathan, Xenia, Joanne and all our team, help keep that tradition alive.
