Xenia acts for a broad spectrum of clients, such as multinational corporations, listed companies, directors, shareholders, creditors, debtors, and high-net-worth individuals.
She also works in coordination with litigation in multiple jurisdictions.
Asian Legal Business has recognised her as one of the ALB Rising Stars Hong Kong 2023.
She handles a wide range of civil dispute resolution and litigation matters, including commercial disputes, tenancy matters, land-related disputes, applications under the Mental Health Ordinance, shareholders disputes, fraud, defamation and urgent applications for Mareva injunction and Norwich Pharmacal orders.
She has experience in broad-ranging, multi-party litigation and handling actions in the High Court.
In addition, she provides services to clients in Hong Kong and overseas regarding estate and non-contentious and contentious probate matters.
She also advises and assists clients in disputes concerning administration, inheritance or dependants’ claims, including contentious probate actions to prove Wills, revocation of grants of representation, removal of executors, and determination of the deceased person’s domicile and succession entitlement under intestacy.
Xenia qualified as a solicitor in 2014, joined Haldanes as an Associate in the Civil Ligation Department in 2017 and was promoted to Senior Associate in January 2022.
She is a committee member of the Probate Committee of the Law Society of Hong Kong.
She received a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Exeter and a Master of Laws in International Economic Law from the Chinese University of Hong Kong.
She obtained her Postgraduate Certificate in Laws (PCLL) from the Chinese University of Hong Kong. She was appointed as a Civil Celebrant of Marriages in 2022.

Notable Cases:
- Acting for a former listed company and its affiliated companies within the group with engagement of one Senior Counsel and two Junior Counsels in claiming losses and damages arisen from trading suspension and investment losses which exceed HK$800 million (excluding interest) in connection with the auditing and financial advice given to the client by one of the big four account firms.
- Acting for a company registered under the laws of the British Virgin Islands and a Taiwanese business man against a Singapore company in a dispute over 1,000 shares in three companies incorporated under Hong Kong law in aid of seeking an injunction order restraining the Singapore party from passing resolutions in the three companies and interpleader relief pending a stay of Singapore proceedings to be commenced in Hong Kong.
- Acting for two former executors of two estates in claiming against as well as defending claims from a court-appointed independent professional administrator in allegedly failing to vest the assets of the two estates including at least 30 landed properties in multiple jurisdictions and some of which were held in the name of limited liability companies incorporated in Hong Kong.
- Acting for the sole executor of the estate of a deceased person in successfully seeking the Court to propound the Wills of the Deceased against the adopted daughter of the Deceased which attracted media attention given the Deceased came from a wealthy family and, a total of 15 witnesses including high-profile figures were called to give evidence during trial, also to assist the sole executor in recovering assets which were misappropriated.
- Acting for a Hong Kong businessman in a claim against a Hong Kong prominent charitable foundation for recovery of loans and enforcement of judgment sum with interest amounts to over HK$300 million with application for examination of directors of the charitable foundation.
