Emma Fok

Emma joined Haldanes in 2012 as a trainee solicitor and qualified as a solicitor in 2014.

Emma’s practice focuses on corporate and commercial matters with a strong media & entertainment flavour to the same. On the corporate side, Emma has experience in drafting and advising corporate and individual clients on share sale & purchase agreements, share charges, articles of association, joint venture agreements and shareholders’ agreements in a variety of industries, including the setting up of local and overseas amusement attractions and shows, as well as food businesses.

Emma also has experience in drafting and reviewing a wide range of commercial contracts, including confidentiality agreements, loan agreements, sponsorship agreements, leasing agreements for specialty vehicles and large-scale decorative lighting structures, management services agreements, talent service agreements, acquisitions of music labels, and intellectual property licensing contracts with regards to international television formats, music rights, broadcasting rights for major sports competitions, film rights and brands.

Emma has also advised clients on employment contracts, and assisted with applications for tax exemption status and immigration matters.
